Stewards of the Soil

Rooted in 1825. Replanted in 2019.

Thank you for bringing a piece of Pumpkin Wood Farm into your home today. This land has been in our family for over 150 years, and since 2019, we have been working with "faithful hands" to restore its vitality.

Why we farm this way:

  • Restoration: We use no-till and regenerative methods to heal the soil and protect the environment for the next generation.

  • Access: We believe healthy, chemical-free food should be affordable for every neighbor, not just a luxury for a few.

  • Hope: We farm because we love our Creator. Our greatest joy isn't just growing food, but sharing the hope of the Gospel with our community.

When you shop with us, you aren't just buying groceries—you are helping us build a legacy that our children will be proud to lead.

We are grateful to grow for you.

The Rigg Family

Located in: West Nantmeal, PA

Rooted in Chester County’s heritage, we steward the soil with faith and purpose—preserving the legacy of a bygone era for generations to come.

We are committed to sustainability and ethical farming practices. We firmly believe that happy animals lead to better products. We raise our birds in our pastures in chicken tractors. We use feed grown using pesticide-free, herbicide-free, and untreated non-GMO seed grown using organic methods from a local mill.

These chickens have been lovingly raised, and their natural diet and lifestyle contribute to the incredible taste and quality of the meat.

Thank you for supporting our operation.

Better soil.
Better microbes.
Better health.
